Walden Boulder Jam: March 28, 2026
On March 28, we’re hosting the Walden Boulder Jam, our local fun competition! No stress, no finals, just climbing together, great boulders and a good vibe.
For this edition, we’re bringing top route setting by our head setters Jan and Nataleigh (Atari Climbing), joined by UK guest setter Nathan Phillips. Nathan is a 2x British Champion, World Championship finalist and National Routesetter, so you can expect 25 creative, challenging and, above all, fun boulders for every level.
The competition itself is free. No registration required. You only pay your regular gym entry. You’ll log your boulders using the Griptonite app, so make sure to install it on your phone in advance. No smartphone? Borrow one from a friend.
Practical info:
– U16: climbing from 10am to 1pm
– 16+: climbing all day from 10am to 7pm
Unlike the Walden Open in autumn, there will be no finals at this competition. The focus is entirely on our community and climbing together.
From 2pm onwards, DJs will set the vibe to wrap up the day in style.
