On Saturday, March 28, 2026, we organized our first Boulder Jam: a local fun competition focused on our community.
Jan and Nataleigh (Atari Climbing), joined by UK guest setter Nathan Phillips — who traveled all the way from the U.K. to Walden especially for this — provided a strong set of challenging and fun boulders. Nathan is a two-time British Champion, reached the World Championship finals, and is active as a National route setter in the UK. With over 15 years of experience in route setting and an outdoor climbing level of up to 8c+, he brought a strong mix of experience and creativity.
The competition was exactly how a fun comp should be: great DJs, a packed room, and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. More of that!Below you will find some photos:
